The greatest teacher, philanthropist, royal advisor, economist and expert of political science Chankya once said “एक  शिक्षक कभी साधारण नहीं होता, प्रलय और निर्माण उसकी गोद में पलते हे l”

Today I want to talk about such an unsung hero who has dedicated his entire life to education. One might be wondering that the title denotes about great mathematician Anand kumar and the opening statement of the blog is describing Chanakya so who will be the unsung here in this article?

Recent Hrithik Roshan starred Bollywood movie – “Super 30” talked about the great mathematician Mr. Anand kumar & his struggling to excel; and most amazing thing is that our Indian topography is full of such heroes but irony is that they never come in the limelight, neither their immediate ecosystem recognizes them. But, being a vigilant citizen I have pledged to unveil such heroes & personalities and bring them in lime light through my blog. In accordance to that today I will talk about such a promising teacher of Surat, Gujarat whom we will call Surat ka Anandkumar till the end of this blog.

His name is Hiren Kansara. He is an elder son of his parents who belongs to lower middle class and average educated background. In his childhood they had to face severe financial crunches and therefore the education of Hiren and his younger brother went down in the priority of his father; their education was a luxury for his father and not the necessity; but Hiren’s mother was the far visionary lady. Despite of being semi literate, she very well understood that the good education is the passport of the future and she was the firm believer that tomorrow belongs to those who prepares for it today.

But the cruel reality neither understand the philosophy nor respects the emotions of a person; liquidity crunches were crushing this family a lot that they used to wear slippers worth rupees 10 and a pair of shirt & trouser worth rupees 250 only. But Hiren has been the replica of his mother in the thought process of ideology. He was never afraid of doing hard work; in fact he believed in the combo of hard & smart work because a labour does the tremendous amount of hard work but he remains at the same stage throughout his life whereas Hiren was firm to change his current situation.

Hiren’s mother came forward to shore him up; she started cooking and Tiffin service which brought some revenue in and help family to meet other expenses specially to fund the children’s education.

Because of this entire struggle and the price her mother has paid to get Hiren educated, he brought up with the feeling of gratitude and he always strived to give it back to his mother and society. As a result he entered in the noblest most profession – teaching. Hiren debuted in teaching career in 2005 when he himself was a student but he started teaching lower standards students at very negligible fees. His hard work, perseverance and dedication succeeded and his students started securing good numbers & ranks in exams. Today it has been 14 glorious & long years and during this time Hiren has never looked back in shaping career of his students. He produced many engineers, Chartered Accountants, bureaucrats and technocrats in span of 14 years. Many are now more qualified than Hiren; some of them are pursuing their PhD, some of them are preparing for UPSC & GPSC now; but all of them give this credit to Hiren & only Hiren.

Now question arises what motivated Hiren to create this glory at the age of just 32 years? He responded that teaching is his passion and he loves teaching. When you love something so intensely and so passionately then only best comes out and nothing else. He further explained that any individual works mainly in two manners – i) one who does what he likes and ii) one who likes what he does – I have done in my life what I like the most.

Now when it comes to his current set up of imparting education – he runs a coaching class in a very mediocre locality in Surat. When it was asked him what made you open your institution here? Looking to your glory – you could have either opened your class in a posh area or joined a well established educational institutes and earn handsome amount of financial freedom. But Hiren responded that my fight is with the evils of the education system and ill mindset prevailing in parents & students that costly education is only good education. And those who don’t have money to afford costly education don’t have right to education?

Therefore he has opened his coaching centre in the mediocre area and charging fees almost 1/3^rd of what all other coaching institutes charge. He believes that when almighty doesn’t discriminate in poor or rich, higher class or lower class of society while giving talent then how we can do that discrimination while just nurturing that talent? He believes that only educated generation can bring the nation in elite class of international alliances and therefore he decided to sacrifice his own luxury to this noble cause of Educating & Nurturing the coming generations.
